Dear City View Discovery School Community,

I am writing to inform you of some changes in the leadership of City View Discovery School for next school year: 2026-27.

It is with mixed emotions that I share that I will no longer be the Principal of City View, and instead I will be moving to Francis J. McGrath Elementary School as Principal.

As I reflect on my seven years at City View, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for all of you. I have poured my heart and soul into City View and I will always carry a piece of our school community with me wherever I go and whatever I do. My time here has been amazing, and I am so proud of all the work we have done together!

All of the growth and wonderful hard work will continue next year, thanks to our amazing staff, students, and families. I am proud of the improvements we have made in our daily attendance and the impact that has had on classrooms across the school. I know that will continue into the future so that students will continue to access high-quality learning that our staff provide each day.

I know that the focus on high quality instruction to increase the academic achievement of all students will continue with our committed and talented staff and students. Our staff will continue to provide scaffolds and support so that all of our students can reach the high expectations put forth each day. I am excited to see what the future holds.

While I am sad to be leaving, and will miss all of you immensely, I am confident that the hard work and dedication will carry on at City View Discovery School.

I will continue to be at City View for the remainder of the school year, and will cherish these last few weeks with our school community! Thank you for all of your support and hard work, and I wish you a wonderful summer!
