Summer School 2024
Students:
If you earned between a 55-64 and did not get credit, you will need to sign up for Summer School.
Summer School will be held from June 24-27 (M-Th), July 1-3 (M-W), and July 8-11 (M-Th) in-person from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Transportation will be provided, if you are eligible.
All medications must be administered at home.
LOCATION: Worcester Technical High School (will also serve students from Doherty Memorial High School and Forest Grove Middle)

Curious to create your own computer games? In our two-week Summer Immersion Program (SIP), you’ll learn how to design your own games using p5.js, a JavaScript library for creative coding. Join classmates and our dedicated Teaching Teams in live virtual classrooms hosted by industry-leading companies like MetLife, Bank of America, Logitech, and Synchrony. We’ve got three rounds to fit your schedule: June 14 to June 28, July 8 to July 19, and July 29 to August 9.
SIP is for current 9th-11th grade girls and non-binary students with beginner or intermediate coding experience, including program alums. Eligible students can even apply for a $300 SIP Student Grant and laptop and hot spot access!Excited to explore the biggest topics in tech at your own pace? Our six-week Self-Paced Program offers tracks in Web Development, Cybersecurity, and – new for 2024 – Data Science + AI! From July 1 to August 9, you get to decide how and when to build your coding skills, and you can always ask questions in our Discord server or optional Student Hours.
The Self-Paced Program is for current 9th-12th grade girls and non-binary students with beginner to advanced coding experience, including program alums.

WPI Summer Program
LAUNCH- WPI Pre-College Experience- Grades (9-11)
Launch registration is now open!
Program registration will remain open until April 30th or until all seats are full. As our only registration based program, we anticipate that seats will fill quickly in our first-come, first-served classes. We look forward to receiving your registration today!
About Launch
Launch is a one-week commuter program for rising 9, 10 & 11th grade students who are interested in taking a hands-on approach to exploring STEM. Students will select a topic of their choice to study in-depth for the full week. Courses are taught by WPI instructors, and include hands-on activities, demos, and discussions.

WPI: Frontiers Summer Program (Grades 10-12)
Your unforgettable summer experience starts with Frontiers. Frontiers is a two-week residential program where students get a sense of a WPI education. Participants will have a STEM major and humanities, arts, or business minor. Outside of class, they'll live in a residence hall, eat in the dining hall, and participate in several extra-curricular activities with peers from around the globe.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis once they are complete and all required documents are received. Typically, you can expect to hear back from our team within two weeks of your application being finalized. Accepted students will be placed in a major and minor following their submitted rankings and seat availability at the time of acceptance.

Pre-College Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University
Summer Pre-College Program at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University
Essentially, Adventures In Veterinary Medicine (AVM) is a two-week, residential or commuter camp-like experience focused entirely on introducing students to veterinary medicine and animal health. Each full day includes topics and workshops in animal CPR, diagnostic imaging, animal behavior, veterinary engineering, as well as the basics of vet school and the college and admissions process. The high school AVM program also includes field trips/experiences with behind-the-scenes opportunities at area zoos, aquariums, farms, and the Tufts Medical School.
