Preschool Seats Available in 2 Programs
Are you seeking a preschool classroom for your child under 5 years old? Worcester Public Schools (WPS) has openings in both its preschool (Pre-K) and Head Start programs for the 2025-26 school year.
WPS Pre-K:
WPS Pre-K is open to children who are or will be 4 years old by December 31, 2025. While the normal application timeline has closed and the school year has begun, there are seats available in some schools. If you are interested, please call the WPS Parent Information Center at 508-799-3194 between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Head Start:
Worcester Head Start is a preschool program for families who meet federal income guidelines, and is also operated by Worcester Public Schools. The school year has begun, but there are seats available. It is open to students ages 3 and 4 years old.
