Students at May Street now have a new outdoor percussion garden featuring drums, bongos, a glockenspiel and more instruments designed for creative play.
The garden was installed in memory of longtime paraprofessional Anna Torres, who served the school community for more than 25 years. A percussionist at her church, the space honors her legacy while providing students with an additional outlet for expression.
