WORCESTER – Wednesday, September 24, 2025 – A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place today at Worcester Technical High School to celebrate the re-opening of the school’s credit union, which is now operated in partnership with Leominster-based All One Credit Union.

Students in Worcester Tech’s Finance, Marketing, and Business Management career technical education program are paid to work in the credit union, which is open to the public, alongside All One staff members. The credit union is open to the public during the school year Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM-2:00 PM.

The school’s credit union, which had been operated by another entity, closed two years ago and re-opened in August prior to the start of the school year thanks to the new partnership with All One. Worcester Tech students in the Painting and Design career major painted the banking space before it re-opened.

In attendance for the ceremony were numerous students, All One and WPS staff, and local leaders, including Mayor Joseph M. Petty, Superintendent Brian E. Allen, All One President and CEO Barbara A. Mahoney, All One Senior Vice President Katie N. Najjar, All One Assistant Vice President Brittany S. Haley, District 2 City Councilor Candy Mero-Carlson, School Committee At-Large member Sue Mailman, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce CEO Tim Murray, and Worcester Tech Principal Drew Weymouth, among others.
