On Saturday, October 4, fourteen Worcester Public Schools students participated in a Modern Band Workshop hosted by Berklee College of Music.

Guided by Danielle Collins of InspireEd, students prepared and performed two songs, gaining hands-on experience in collaboration and musical performance. They also participated in a panel discussion with more than 40 music educators from New England and New York, led by Dr. Bryan Powell of Music Will.

The students’ talent, teamwork, and creativity left a lasting impression on workshop attendees and highlighted the opportunities WPS provides for students to explore their musical passions.
