High schools in the Worcester Public Schools will hold open houses for current eighth-grade students this fall to help them and their families make decisions about high school for next school year: 2027-28.

November 4, 2026, 6:30-8:30 PM | Doherty Memorial High School, 299 Highland Street | Open house about all school programming, including athletics, career technical education, clubs, athletics, and more. Building tours, information sessions and displays. |
November 18, 2026, 6:00-7:30 PM | South High Community School, 170 Apricot Street | Open house to learn more about South's three Chapter 74 career technical education programs. Includes presentation and a panel discussion followed by a question and answer session and building tour. |
