2025 - 2026 Student Handbook
Overview
By attending Worcester Public Schools, students and caregivers acknowledge and agree to abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the Student Handbook.
Caregivers may opt to receive a paper copy of the Student Handbook from their school or read all of its contents on this website. Click the links on the right sidebar to read each section of the Handbook.
The Student Handbook on this website can be read in more than 100 languages; click the "Translate" button at the top right on a desktop to read in another language. The Handbook is also accessible in accordance with under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Caregivers and students (grades 7-12) must sign the forms issued in the Student Handbook electronically through WooEdu or by filling out a paper form provided by the school, and then returning it to the designated school staff member. If you need to fill out the forms in a language other than English or have issues with WooEdu, you can also fill out the forms on ParentSquare by request.
The Student Handbook may be updated throughout the school year as needed. Any changes will be made on the website version of the Handbook.
Superintendent's Message
The Worcester Public Schools (WPS) is proud to provide the 2025-2026 Student Handbook, offering students and caregivers essential information on the policies and procedures in place within our school system.
Caregivers are encouraged to review this handbook with their student and reference it as needed during the school year. Revisions have been made to some policies and procedures from the previous year, and particular attention to these updates is appreciated.
