Welcome WPS students and families!

This website is designed to provide students, parents, and caregivers with summer reading requirements, book and activity suggestions, online resources, and math calendars. 

Summer reading is an opportunity to keep students engaged in learning, teach them new skills, allow them to explore topics of their choice, and foster creativity and innovation.

Summer Reading Letters to Caregivers

Summer Reading Partnership with Worcester Public Library

This summer, all Worcester Public Schools students who will enter grades 7, 8, 9 or 10 in the fall will have free access to digital versions of their summer reading books thanks to a partnership with Worcester Public Library.

Students will need to access the SORA app on Clever to download digital versions of their summer reading. These digital books are available for 90-day checkout at no cost to students, families or caregivers.
