On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the Worcester Public Schools (WPS) held the annual lottery admissions drawing for the 2026-27 school year for students seeking admission to Worcester Technical High School and Chapter 74 Career Technical Education (CTE) programs at Doherty, North and South high schools.
Below, find your school to view the CTE lottery admissions results for the 2026-27 school year. These students will be in ninth grade in the fall of 2026 (Class of 2030).
The annual CTE lottery is conducted by Go 2 Solutions; you can watch the video of the lottery process.
The acceptance list for each school is updated periodically as students make their decisions. Families are notified if a student is removed from a wait list.
Worcester Public Schools (WPS) follows state law and the WPS Chapter 74 CTE Admissions Policy.
For students accepted into Worcester Technical High School, which is a full-scale CTE school with 23 Chapter 74 programs, they are accepted into the school itself and then decide the CTE program they will be admitted to for the remainder of their four years through the “Ninth Grade Exploratory Process.”
For Doherty, North and South high schools, which offer a small number of CTE programs, students are accepted into the specific programs they applied for.
View the WPS Career Technical Education page for more information, or contact the school with questions.
